4-DAY ADVENTURE

4-DAY ADVENTURE

More time fishing. More time exploring. More opportunities to build real skills. The 4-Day Adventure gives young anglers four hands-on sessions to move beyond the basics and begin developing confidence as surf anglers. Rather than trying to teach everything in one day, each session builds on the last while keeping fishing at the center of the experience. What They’ll Experience Young anglers can explore casting, tackle selection, knots and rigs, bait preparation, fish identification, surf conditions, ethical fish handling, conservation, and the science behind how fish locate food and move through the coastal environment. There is still plenty of time spent doing the most important part: fishing. Program Snapshot Length: 4 sessions over approximately one month Experience Level: Beginner through intermediate Location: Beaches of Northeast Florida Equipment: Fishing equipment provided Focus: Skill development, marine science, coastal ecology, conservation, and surf fishing

Explore the Surf

Participants learn how waves, currents, beach structure, bait, and fish behavior influence where and how we fish.

Learn by Doing

Each session combines instruction with plenty of fishing time so kids can immediately put new skills into practice.

Grow in Confidence

With multiple sessions to practice and adjust, young anglers begin becoming more independent and comfortable on the beach.

GO DEEPER! Four sessions. More fishing. More skills. More to discover.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Four Hands-On Sessions A month-long experience designed to build skills over time rather than trying to cover everything in one day. Progressive Skill Building Each session builds on what young anglers learned previously, giving them time to practice and improve. Plenty of Fishing Time Instruction is woven into the experience without taking the focus away from actually fishing. Changing Beach Conditions Young anglers experience how tides, weather, waves, currents, and fish activity can change from one trip to the next.
